Kenosha Kid is an international jazz collective formed by composer/guitarist Dan Nettles. Based in the college-rock haven of Athens, Georgia, Nettles leads several incarnations of the band and has performed his music in the U.S., Europe, and Canada. Performances are often multimedia events, featuring silent films, actors, dancers or unusual instrumentation.

What happens next? In this case, they all became fast friends and musical partners, touring and recording together for well over 5 years now. Each member is a talented bandleader and composer in their own rite and each musician brings something vital to the musical palette that makes up Kenosha Kid. The sound is something new and enticing: a fermented blend of NYC hipster-jazz soaked in the humid college-rock town of Athens, Georgia, and uncorked in Europe with ferocious glee. After years of experience performing together, Nettles, Patton, Fidezius and Van Huffel weave their way from one song to another with an uncanny sense of telepathy. The melodies are haunting, the grooves are devastating, and the focus is always on instrumentation, song arrangement, and band sound over long-winded soloing.
